Contra dance has connected him to community across almost three decades. He hopes that his dance calling will sustain and grow that inclusive community. Dan currently resides in Knoxville, Tennessee. He regularly leads evenings of dance in North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama. He's traveled as far as Northern California to teach and call. He identifies calling as his true vocation, but when he's not behind the microphone, he is a landlord and investor.
